My only complaint is that our visit was too short! My daughter and I enjoyed our stay, and the meals were delicious. We will be back!

The property is excellent value for money and great if you want an authentic experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. We did eat the evening meal which I found really tasty. My son is a picky eater - but he ate the pasta and the meat course. They did check with us if there was anything we didn’t eat the morning of our meal which I thought was really kind of them. Put last day we snacked throughout the day so wasn’t too hungry so we bought a sandwich and some noodles locally. They prepared my son’s noodles for him which was really kind. My son did use the pool a couple of times too. The train is noisy but only a couple an hour and it stops over night so doesn’t disturb sleep. You done it out after a while in any case. Great place to stay and great location for the ruins. Thank you for your hospitality.

The property was very clean and tidy and in good repair, although a bit basic. The room was very comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful - in particular pointing out a final nights promotional price viewing for a local attraction that we would have otherwise missed (the Villa de Mistery). There was free parking within the property - which was very convenient (although a little tight) and the pool was very enjoyable after a hot day. The area was very pleasant and mostly quiet, conveniently near to the station and the entrance to Pompei Scavi (ancient ruins), nearest supermarket that we could find was about 1km away. The food was the real highlight as we took the half board option and Giuseppe and Laurena cooked delicious and varied Italian dishes in plentiful supply every night (including authentic carbonara and seafood linguini with whole crab). There was not anything that we didn't like, however possible improvements could be some tea and coffee making facilities in the room (although Giuseppe made delicious genuine Italian coffee for breakfast and could supply you with others during the day on request - although there may have been an additional charge for that). Overall a hugely enjoyable and relaxing stay and we would reccommend.

Amazing stay in Pompeii

Posted 10 Jun 2024 on Hotels
We got this stay on our way to Pompeii and got a wonderful surprise. Don Domenico received us at the gate and from there we got show to our lovely rooms and headed to a great dinner. Lorena and Giuseppe took care of the meal and stay. Can't say enough about out stay in Pompeii. And the property is right beside the Pompeii ruins. 5 min walk to the main entrance.

Perfect for Pompeii! Dinner is a must!

Posted 8 Jun 2024 on Hotels
Nice little place near Pompeii (maybe a 10min walk). Parking in the villa (thru secure gate). Nice pool to cool off after a long tiring day walking. Very good price. Will offer if you want dinner (for a fee) while you’re staying. The meal is a MUST! Best, most filling dinner we had our entire journey through Italy. Homemade and I thought the plates would never stop coming. It was all so delicious! Since dinner was just a few steps from our room , I didn’t even think to grab phone so I could take pictures of the food.

Pompeiis second Gem

Posted 7 Jun 2024 on Hotels
A real Gem located a stones throw from the ruins of Pompeii. The room was very clean and spacious with Excellent aircon and an outside patio. Guiseppe and Lorena were very welcoming and upon arrival a free drink of your choice was offered (Peroni) They made you feel more like family than guests, always asking if everything was ok. There's only a few rooms and plenty of Sun loungers around the beautifully clean pool area. Breakfast was buffet style and tables were arranged by the pool side which was lovely, the coffee is great and the breakfast would leave you full and ready for the day. Other guests ate at the hotel, the portion sizes looked substantial. If I was to try and find a negative it would be that the train track backed on to the bedroom and the trains which ran regularly and through the night vibrated through the room, I was also bitten many times by mosquitos which seam to be coming from the shower in the bathroom. These points wouldn't deter me staying there again, I loved it. See you again Guiseppe and Lorena x

Highly recommend staying here before a trip to Pompeii park. It’s walking distance from the park entrance and the train station. It’s run by a lovely family. We arrived late and starving from the Naples airport on the 1st night of our trip. We were worried about finding food becuase the small town looked pretty closed for the evening. The wife cooked us the most amazing meal. The courses just kept coming and coming (no menu) and she made sure we were well fed and had beer and wine for us. Breakfast the next morning was also good and we were able to store our bags while on the tour of Pompeii. Very friendly family and happy we were able to stay with them!
