"The staff are incredible friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing - including a life egg station / where they cook your eggs of choice while you wait. Lovely rooms with balcony you can sit in with view of the mountains. Top deck with pool and stunning views. Highly recommend. We went back."

"I feel very comfortable in this hotel. It is a great space for the price. Rooms are cleaned every day. Owners are very helpful and friendly. It is in Lakeside, a very touristy area but the neighbors are nice also. It is 2 blocks from the lake. When the power goes out, they have solar power and solar WiFi. This is a Nepali hotel with Western features or you can have smaller less expensive rooms that are truly Nepali."

"I stayed at a KGH The Maya Manor boutique in Kathmandu. Thought I’d give the Himalayan a try. Was not disappointed. Absolutely OUTSTANDING in every respect!! The room for clean and tidy, Guest services were outstanding… The views of the Annapurna range are beyond compare! The spa is incredibly affordable and relaxing! Great fitness center . All in all an outstanding stay and would go again!"

"Staff very helpful. Good hot water for showers and provide a good breakfast . Outdoor deck on top floor has beautiful view of the mountains. Only negative for me was a very firm bed, but Iended up sleeping well anyway. Spent 2 nights here before my trek, and one night afterwards before returning to Kathmandu. If I had the time I’d have stayed another couple nights to see/ do more in Pokara."

"The room and facilities would have been perfectly good and satisfying, had the price been a bit lower. Instead, the hotel has an air of grandeur that it fails to deliver on. The room I got was small, dark and kind of grotty. The lock barely worked, the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all and the shower was barely adequate. The bed was a bit firmer than I like, too, but I accept that’s a personal preference."
