Property was amazing with beautiful outdoor area. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating.

Excellent with some caveats

Our stay at the Heritage Hotel was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the breakfast included with the package. The staffs were accommodating. However, the room service was slow at times and our dinner arrived 2 hours late one night.

lovely hotel but mixed review on service

We stayed at Heritage for five nights in total. Overall it was pleasant, the suite was clean and tidy and the bathroom/shower was nice and warm. Breakfast was ok and I'm not sure about lunch/dinner as we always ate out. The location is super and we were able to keep our suitcase with them for free when we went on a week long trek so they were accommodating. The main issue with the hotel is the service which isn't always competent. 1) I booked a massage giving notice in the timescale requested but when I went down to go to the spa, there was no masseuse so I then waited another hour. Unfortunately a male masseuse was on offer which I wasn’t aware of or comfortable with, so I decided to cancel after all the delays. 2) We stayed an extra night as we finished our trek early and the hotel was storing our suitcase as mentioned above. I was asked to come to the front desk twice when I was trying to go to sleep because the staff realised they'd given me the wrong room rate 3) We booked a taxi with them the next day to take us to our next hotel. I gave them the address in advance as there are two hotels of the same name in Pokhara and they confirmed they had the correct details. Half way into our journey we realised the taxi was taking us to the wrong hotel. This was frustrating as we had paid in advance and we decided it was easier to sort it out ourselves then to get the Heritage hotel staff to resolve their error as we didn’t trust they could do so effectively.

We are also delighted to note that you find our hotel pleasant... the suite room allotted to you was clean and tidy and that the bathroom/shower was nice and warm. You also found us accommodating to store your luggage for a week while on trek. Besides, you were right to say the hotel location to be SUPER! For your kind information, your second visit coincided with the main day of Tihar: the five-day festival of lights where we are compelled to send our staff on leave for the annual brother/sister reunion similar to EASTER, which falls in the auspicious time set by the astrologers. Because, the ceremony prolonged for a longer period, which could not be left premature, the assigned masseuse unintentionally was delayed-apologies! Your feedback will now help us to assign extra staff on standby next time. We were happy to welcome you a day earlier from your pre-booking, and managed to provide a nicer room. However, we must apologize for the inconvenience caused by the confusion by this early check-in. Obviously the driver, who was assigned for your next hotel was confused since Hotel Pavilion are at TWO different locations, and he wondered which one you were booked in. The staff was extremly friendly and we felt like being among the friends and not in the hotel. They were helpful and accommodating to our needs. It was very realxing stay there. Love to come back ance again :-) :-)
