NOTHING UNIQUE about the hotel at all! The restaurant was ok, but the menu selections was not too much. The lift broke down and was out of order from the evening of the 36th of Oct. til we left on the 30th. We had to walk up and down 6 flights of stairs, and for my husband and I, it was not easy as we are senior citizens. Also, I had paid for a room with a balcony, but was given ANOTHER room. There was no instructions on using the TV remote, or what English channels available and using the TV was a problem several times as it would NOT access ANYTHING.

Excellent and very professional staff. The location of the hotel was also great, very central. The assistance upon our arrival and recommendations for site seeing were also great.

The food at restaurant in the hotel is great, the staff and service at the hotel is excellent.

Great Hotel,middle of town, 2 blocks from the lake

Pros: Close to center strip (Lakeside rd) but not on the strip. 2 blocks from the Lake.
Cons: Asked checkout lady for taxi. She said OK, she picked up a taxi list and phone.10 min later Concierge arrived and said HE was about to call. Not good
Location: Half a block away, on Lakeside Rd strip there are lots of shops, restaurants, excursion planning, massages, bars. Plus the Lake another block away.
Good Hotel, staff spoke good English and was friendly. Room was nice and clean with a good view. Garden outside, massage center on premises, cheaper ones a few blocks away. Hotel was safe, quiet, modern like a USA 3.5 star (almost 4.5 star for Nepal). Restaurant (dinner) had a lot of good food choices, plus a large breakfast. View of Lake and Himalaya mountains is good, but it can be dusty/foggy/hazy with no views many days.
