"Outdoor area of property has a beautiful art installation. The room was a good size, and the outdoor kitchen and dining area was intriguing. The main pool was under renovation, but the small personal pool which is allocated to each villa was adequate. A beach is under five minutes walk away. Parking is available for free. "Staff was very friendly, accommodations were clean and neat, appliances worked perfectly, pool and hot tub were clean everyday. Great location to see Basse-Terre island. Free parking for your rented car (which you will need to see the island). We were in a Studio with a kitchenette. Bigger grocery store was about 20 minutes away. only 15 minutes to Deshae (where they filmed Death in Paradise). We had a great time."

"The hotel is functional but the rooms in particular are dated by modern standards. It is probably the closest beach hotel to the airport. Nothing to see in nearby area. You will need a taxi into downtown Le Gosier. "

Good design, needs better upkeep

"The hotel has an excellent design but it needs better upkeep. In our room: No light bulbs in a floor lamp; Balcony sliding door could not lock; Safe not working due to dead and corroded batteries; Keycard not working, had to use physical key; Only one bedside lamp worked. However it was clean, the room had a separate toilet area, and the breakfast was excellent."

"Such fantastic, straight-forward service. Easy check-in, daily room cleaning that smelled amazing, and the grounds were impeccable. I could not have asked for more, I travel frequently and this hotel has the best, bed, pillows, sheets and bathroom. I have nothing negative to say. It was perfection. "
