Smelly, heaters, TV remote and lights non-functional. Mattress horrible, no service, Internet very poor. Altogether a nightmare.

Sorry you were not happy with the upgrade you were given, instead of the double room that your reserved. The heater had an odor because it was just turned on for the first time this season, I will look into the mattress issue, but there are 3 beds to choose from, I am sorry that not one of them was to your satisfaction. As far as the internet, we have the highest business internet service you can supply, we are sorry for the connection, but I am on the property 24/7, 365 days a year and use the internet on a daily basis, and yes it does have times it is not perfect...but there is only so much we can do .I do not know what lights were not working since they were checked approximately an hour before you arrived, when I went to check the room, I did check all of the electric for you prior to leaving the room and all was in working order when I left the room. Service issuesI did not receive a call in regards to any issues that you have stated. If we were aware of any issues they would have been taken care of immediately. But without knowing any issues we can not help you. As far as service, like I just stated a call to the office, would have rectified any issues you may have felt needed to be addressed. we apologize for the un-happy experience you had with us. I will address the issue you stated in your post. Just an fyi for the future, for any place you stay, if you ever have issues with anything a call to the office of the property usually solves them, so you would have had a more pleasurable stay. Whether good or bad, we appreciate the time you took to post a review.

The host was kind and friendly. The room was very clean as well as the bed and bedding.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay over Labor Day weekend. So clean! A quick walk to the beach & boardwalk. Front desk ladies were so so helpful with dinner recommendations, beach badge & beach chair rentals. Pool was great to use after day at the beach. It wasn’t heated, but still warm. The only slight downsides- TVs are small & outdated, and the PPB area in general was super busy with tons of people, though to be expected on a holiday weekend. Would definitely stay again!

For what this property charges for a stay, you would think they would put a little money into the place. So dated, mattress had to be 30 years old as well as the TV.

Pool wasn’t open before 10:00 and we had small kids who were up early to use the pool…they offered for us to come back and use the pool around 3:00 (even after checkout) but they have no rest room to use before we left so we could not use the pool as we live 2 hours away. They also were never at the check in desk - you had to call the phone number and hope someone would pick up

Great simple motel right down the street from the boardwalk! Very clean and comfortable!
