The hotel should not have been open while there was loud dusty excavating going on in front of the hotel. The construction crew would start really early in the morning and all the day through the late evening. I never could get any sleep and the noise was terrible. If I was aware of the situation I would of stayed elsewhere but I could not cancel my reservation through Agoda since I arrived on the day of the booking.

Dear Sir,We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused by the road works initiated by the local government. This is all beyond our control and unfortunately we have been unable to do anything to mitigate the situation. The new concrete on the roadway has been poured and we believe any inconvenience in the next few days will be minimal, with the project completion within a week. Thank you!

Posted 18 Dec 2023 on HotelsReally nice staff and the location isn’t bad! There’s a lot of eateries and bars nearby—but the property is so incredibly noisy. I’m not talking about the hustle and bustle of steeet noise—that never bothers me. But there was really loud construction happening at ALL hours. I was awoken after midnight by an incredibly loud truck dropping gravel on the street in front of the hotel and people raked it for awhile afterwards. There was jackhammering and drilling before 8am. Terrible sleep, nice hotel. Apparently it’s been going on for 2 months, no end in sight.

It was a pleasurable experience to stay at the Clippers hotel. It was very close to where our venue was. It’s a home away from home.

Hi Christian, After claiming to find insect in your room the night you stayed, you claim to have tried to contact the staff thru our landline. We informed you full well that our reception is not 24hours as we are not a hotel. You have not given us the chance to rectify the problem, or even show us the legitimacy of your claim and we wonder why that is? You were given the whatssapp number and other contact options, in case of emergencies and yet you chose not to use that to seek the assistance of the staff right at that time. And we wonder why that is? the following day you threatened the female staff to place negative reviews with photos all over the internet if we do not refund you in full. You did not even show the photos that you claim you have to our staff. So for your inconvenience of a complaint which was highly sus, we allowed to refund you in full for the 3 nights.
I myself travel for business and I make sure that properties are given the chance to rectify the issue if any. but everything about this complaint is highly suspect. we hope that you do not treat other accommodations this way.

Nice art deco property.
Beside a busy road so lots of traffic noise during the day, but it gets quieter at night
