Lovely staff particularly Alice.
Friday evening had to book table as a very popular restaurant - if a little pricey - the main of a small fish pie £19.
Very comfortable bed and good size room. But no heating on either night of our stay, and it was very cold on Saturday night so after raising the issue with staff - extra blankets and heater provided, and fresh towels as towel rail not working either.

I'm delighted that Alice was able to look after you so well. I'm so sorry regarding the issue with the heating, an engineer attended first thing Monday and eveeything was in order so we can't explain why it wasn't kicking in in your room.Our fish pie is delicious and jam packed with fish. Lovely stay
Posted 17 Aug 2024 on HotelsThe room was perfect and immaculate. Great that they are in a separate building to the pub, so very quiet. The gardens are lovely too. Only slight negative was that there were two items missing from our breakfast, which we were only told after been given to us. The lady did ask if we wanted anything extra, but would have appreciated a bit of money taken off. We also ordered a coffee which never arrived.

Good location, bedrooms seperate to pub. Our room (4) quite small, tiny en suite, pleasant outlook. Very busy for meals, need to book. Food good but could be better, seemed too rushed.
