All staff were friendly.
My only issue is our hot breakfast was served before we had finished our cereal .

The New Continental is conveniently located right in the middle of town. Newly decorated and renovated it’s amazing value. Staff are efficient, polite and friendly.

The position of the hotel is convenient for town and only 10 minutes walk to The Hoe.
I was there 3 night and for two out of three of the breakfasts I had to find a member of staff to order breakfast. They didn't come to take the order.
The hotel is noisy with traffic and street noise though due to it's position.
The breakfast was good and provided gluten free options, however the tea seemed poor and travelling alone only got a small pot which quickly went cool before the hot breakfast came.

Good price and very clean, prime location. gym is small and pool also, does have steam room and sauna. Breakfast is good with a good range of options.

The food was delicious and a fair price for what you get. The kitchen opening times could be a bit better but overall it was great. The staff are lovely, especially Anora. She went above and beyond for us and was great with our 7yo.
The beds were very comfortable and the family room we had was a good size for our long weekend away. The only downside to the room was that there was no extractor fan in the bathroom so the room got very warm when someone had a shower/ bath. There was air conditioning though which helped a bit.
We were there for a wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. I couldn't fault the staff that were working it at all.
I would recommend staying here. The building was beautiful and in a great location
