The couple who owns this are adorable. Room was recently renovated and huge! Breakfast was incredible. Walking distance to two dinner restaurants and short drive to Plitvice Lakes. Stay here!

This place was a gem - a taste of the local vibe, quiet, safe, clean - the host was perfectly accommodating and directed us in things to do in the area. Such a fair price and The breakfast was amazing (so much food and variety of everything) and cheap. Definitely choose to eat there! Very close to the park - a few minutes from each gate. The owner was incredibly nice and gave us recommendations about what trails to do in the park. The room was very spacious and clean with a really nice shower!The location was only a couple of minutes from the park and was super convenient! We had breakfast at the inn and it was delicious! Would give 10 stars if I could! I agree with all the previous reviews about the owners helpful knowledge of the park and the DELICIOUS breakfast. You really feel at home here and the owner and his wife will go out of their way to make your trip memorable. He hand drew us a map of where to find the best restaurants, TAKE HIS RECOMMENDATIONS!!

The owner of Villa Verde was probably the nicest host we have ever had!! He gave us all the secrets to visiting the Plitvicka Lakes National Park and made a reservation at a great local family restaurant. The beds were comfy and the room had a great shower (much needed after a day at the park).
