We got a new mattress which was great. Just ask. Our host was so nice and even taught us some Spanish. We had a delicious dinner at the house. There are also some restaurants in the town. Lovely beach close by. Great experience overall!!

Wunderbare Leute!

Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar. Die Hosts sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Sie finden für wirklich alles eine Lösung und verfügen über ein super Netzwerk (Taxis, tauchen, Fahrrad, Touren usw.). Der Fisch und den Hummer gibt's super frisch zubereitet. Mancher Kommentator scheint vergessen zu haben, unter welchen Voraussetzungen das gewährleistet wird - falls ich wieder nach Playa Larga komme, dann hier hin! Vielen Dank!

We had a great time in Villa Eclipse. Damaris is an examplery hostess who was always there for us with her warm smile and at the same time she was discreet. She helped us to organize nearby excursions and she prepared a delicious breakfast using ingredients of high quality. The room and the whole property (the rooms are on the first floor, Damaris with her family live in the ground floor) were really clean and quiet at the end of a small road. The door and the windows of the room seamed a bit tricky to handle at first but after Damaris explained us, it was a piece of cake. The property has a lovely terrace where we could relax and enjoy the calmness of the place. We also experienced several hours of black out, but fortunately the property had a generator and there was always light. The beach and the restaurants are all within walking distance. We highly recommend this place which is simple but had everything one needs for a relaxing stay in Playa Larga. We always felt safe and welcome and we really thank Damaris for this pleasant stay in her home. Mando and Christiana

Nous avons passé une nuit à la Villa Eclipse. Les fenêtres de la chambre ne se verrouillent pas et la porte ne possède pas de poignée à l'intérieur juste un verrou donc très compliqué à ouvrir. Dans la salle de bain le chien de la propriétaire avait fait pipi, à part ça la chambre était plutôt propre.

Es war alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Wenn man über die Typischen Kubanischen Umstände, über die man sich im klaren sein muss, hinweg sieht, war es wirklich toll. Tolle und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, das Essen war jeden Tag sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet.... Wenn es passt, komme ich gerne immer wieder dorthin! 😊

The room was clean and exactly as shown. All amenities worked well. The outdoor sitting area was spacious for eating, reading, playing board games (supplied). The hostess was welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left 4 days later. Her meals were fabulous and well worth the price - especially breakfasts! A wonderful base to explore Playa Larga.

Villa Eclipse is in a quiet location and has good facilities. The villa is close to Playa Larga but Playa Caleton beach is much more beautifull and nicer with several small bars and eateries. Damaris is a great host and a great cook, friendly and very helpful. We had very good breakfast three times and a delicious dinner twice. A small disadvantage is the location of Villa Eclipse, a 15-minute walk to the nice beach Playa Caleton, but Damaris makes a visit to Villa Eclipse more than worthwhile
