"Good stay. Area 15 mins from Malaga so great if you have a car and not fussed to stay in city. Lots of free parking around the hotel. Had a great cafe in reception. Checkin lad was great. Female in cafe on evening not too friendly. The girl and gent in the morning in cafe were fabulous! Hotel room was very good. Beds and pillows excellent! Not much around the area of the hotel . "

"Overall very good, an extra room chair besides the couch would help make the room even better. Kitchenette was good and had all we needed. The coffee maker was a pod unit and should really come with at least a couple to get started and to know what to buy for more coffee. The room did have a small two cup espresso maker which we ended up using as we had some coffee. "

"The rooms are "minimalist" to such a degree that they do not have wardrobes as such. It was a metal bar hung from the ceiling. This is open to the room and is above the table . To my mind poorly designed. Basically, your clothes are left in the open on a clothes horse as such. I liked the hotel but for this reason will not be returning. On the positive side the staff are brilliant, friendly and very helpful. "

"Loved our stay here at the Apartamentos Turísticos Alhambra. We took the #3 bus that was very close by and were able to get anywhere we wanted in the city. The host was a lovely lady, super friendly and responsive. Two issues to be aware of - there are no screens (which looks to be the norm in Malaga) so you do need to deal with the occasional mosquito. We had fantastic weather (80 deg near zero humidity & cool at night) so we loved sleeping with the windows open but when we tried to use the A/C to cool the room at the end of the day, it wouldn't work unless it was set at 22 deg C and even when set at that temp. it turned on for a minute then stopped working entirely. We didn't raise the issue because again, we prefer open air but I would imagine when the weather gets really hot, that would be a major problem that needs addressing. The apartment is in the east end of Malaga so you really feel like a local and you get immersed in the culture. Very much a non-tourist feel which was great."
