Brilliant pool area for kids with slides and splash pad. Good food and good location for a 5 minute shuttle to the beach.
Rooms and general decor starting to look tired, air con in room useless.
General cleanliness and staff were all excellent.

Great value if you’re an all inclusive fan
Posted 23 May 2024 on HotelsGreat hotel in all respects. Food options do need drastically improving though. No options for vegans that have any protein, no soy yogurts at breakfast or options at lunch or dinner. Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables though

We had insects in the room, they sprayed, but they came back. The shower was leaking frim the ceiling when we took showers, and not lioked at. The food could use an upgrade and the building could use some upkeeping. The staff at the restaurant and bars were amazing!!!

The hotel is very much geared up for families; vast hotel, good sized pool areas (plus slides etc for the kids) and generally enough sun loungers (inevitably with some putting towels on beds before breakfast, to reserve them). The hotel is clean, bright and modern and the room was airy and spacious with comfortable beds and aircon.
Food was ok - being an all inclusive in a four star, there was the inevitable feeding frenzy, "canteen" feel about it. Plenty of big vats of various foods under hot light bulbs keeping everything warm! Lots of options to suit most palates and breakfast was good and plentiful. There's a self-serve counter with burgers/chips/hotdogs by the pool during the day, but it wasn't great quality. Evening meals were uninspiring; mainly beige food like chips, pasta and trays full of overcooked casserole-type food and tinned/frozen veg. The coffee was from an instant machine and the drinks included - Amstel beer and wine on tap and a soft drinks fountain were fine for us. I would say they are trying to cater to everyone obviously, but it made meals quite boring and samey after a few days.
The area is built up with accommodation of similar style and is close to the weird and wonderful Cita shopping centre! Full of duty free shops, clothes, tourist tat, restaurants, bars and an interesting array of "adult" establishments in the basement! Hotel is a short walk to the sand dunes and beaches of Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles and close to public transport links.

Hotel is nice. Amazing location right on the dunes. Food provision and pools are excellent and the staff were great. Lots of the rooms overlook the entertainment area which make it very noisy until 10.30pm but the hotel were good about moving us to a quieter room. A few things need updating a little, the decor is a bit tired in places and a few broken sunbeds etc but on the whole it was a great place for a family holiday.

Not a 4star, take your booking somewhere else.
Posted 3 Apr 2024 on HotelsThis is not a 4 star hotel and photos are misleading and deceiving, I would give it a 3 star at a push. I only booked this hotel because it had a splash area for children, however, the water was freezing cold and area got jam packed with not enough loungers. The hotel is in major need of renovation, there are rotten doors everywhere, paint is peeling off the walls, the shower is a danger to everyone as it goes from very hot to cold without any control, water pressure is very low. The food in the restaurant is luke warm at best, tasteless and out of 4 days I have been there, I was sick on 2. There is very little choice and what is there is dry or uncooked. This felt like a cheap canteen and definitely not worth the money. The food court during the day had very little choice and it is self service making me doubt of the food safety as children were constantly touching the food and the storage of the food raises questions as well. The pool area is cramped, slippery and with broken tiles all over, making it dangerous for children and adults alike. I will be writing to the hotel group directly as I am not happy for the services and the false advertising. People are asked on check out to give a 5star review in exchange of a drink, so be wary of all good reviews.
