"I had a solo stay at Platinum Yucatán Princess for one week. I felt extremely safe and all needs were met. I had services at the spa and everyone was fantastic. I loved spending time on the beach. At the time I went, there wasn't an issue with me getting a beach chair at any time of day. Yes, the ocean is rockier than other areas but the water was clear and the waves weren't too high and best of all...no seaweed! There are a number of pools so you can go to an area and be a part of the party pool or find a pool that is secluded and quiet. The food options were plentiful, however, it did taste like hotel type food. It wasn't the best but it was all definitely edible and there were many different options. For the drinks, the main problem I had was the red and white wine. I did not care for either of them and as a wine drinker that was a little bit of a turnoff but they have everything else under the sun that you can think of and so having a drink in your hand is not a problem. The staff was very nice and accommodating. "

"We did not like the Brasas restaurant too much, it was not the best tasting food; however, the Ventanna restaurant buffet was the best food option for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ventanna had great food selection and a wide variety of options we liked. Juan was really awesome and we enjoyed the salsa class, and the palates class he taught. We also enjoyed the Aura spa, it was awesome. The massage, reflexology and hydrotherapy were a key aspect of the resort. The rooms were fancy and nice, and the bathrooms were awesome, very clean as well. The staff was so respectful and nice, always attentive and ready to help with anything."
