They make you pay a 20$ government tax when you check in and also fined me 2000 pesos. A little over 100$ for smoking on balcony

Dear Mr Cesar, we are so sorry, but the tax you paied is environmental fee, all guests have to pay in cash directly the day of the check in (35 pesos per night). You did smoke inside the room, we found cigarettes and ashes lying on the floor and his room smelled a lot like cigarettes. We have signs everywhere that smoking is prohibited and even the law of Mexico says so. That is why they were charged a penalty that is normally 2000 pesos in cash and we have given them a discount and we charged to you 1500 pesos .

Terrible experience. Beds are hard, not comfortable at all. Stained towels inside the room and the ones for the pool, stained bed sheets. They want to charge you for everything. Our room was on the fourth floor and the elevator was not in service. They told us that they were fixing it, but that never happened. We never saw anybody working on the elevator, and we stayed there for 8 nights. Very bad water pressure. I would not recommend anybody to stay in this hotel.

My husband uses a cane to walk, the Elevators were not working the 6 days we were in hotel.
Other than that the Ladies at the Front office were very hospitable, friendly & very nice.
Maria is an awesome singer. We loved her voice when she sang at the restaurant next door!
I highly recommend this Hotel!

The property needs some renovation to make it a bit more modern. We were given stained towels upon arrival. The area is on a very busy street with traffic sounds all night. I appreciate the fact that the hotel is near shopping and many dining options.

Bad service, all the employees say talk to the manager the manager but they’re never there.
Broken elevator, yet no signs of fixing it. We were there over a week and no-one worked on it.
Cleaning workers walked into our room when there was a do not disturb sign.
Towels are a big issue. The towels they give you are stained, but when they exchange them they say you caused the stains and want to charge you.
I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We remind you that the maid entered her room because you authorized it and the comment does not seem fair to us since the staff is always at her disposal and has always been respectful to every guest who arrives.
