"Carmen and Alicia are excellent hosts. They are incredibly welcoming and gave great dining and site seeing recommendations. All their rooms have private baths which are extremely clean. "We were just there for one day. The rooms are big and spacious, beds are nice and comfy with a full kitchen - great for longer stays - close to the highway. The only reason 3 star on property condition was because our ac was leaking in the night but no other issues and it did not disrupt our sleep. The restaurant was very highly rated and packed."

"Cadaqués is beautiful, not easy to get to without a car, and has limited hotel options. The Octavia is perfectly located, clean, simple, nice rooms, and a good value (keeping in mind that high season for tourism inflates everything in Spain). Access to a parking lot shared by two hotels is a plus, but the policy of no reservations for parking makes that a gamble. "
