"My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. Great hotel in a great location

"Incredible hotel located in the perfect part of town. The rooms are all separate and the pools and thermal pools are easily accessible and not too crowded. The thermal pools are all on site and all different temperatures so it’s easy to find one that’s exactly that you want. The staff are super friendly and the restaurant and bar are great. No noise problems at all. If you have a car, Parking is available right outside your door or in the lot at the entrance if you have multiple. You can see the volcano from every part of the resort. Definitely recommend."
