Smelled like old smoke
Posted 22 Apr 2022 on HotelsHotel billed itself at "smoke free" but the room smelled of smoke. Maybe it is smoke free now, but it wasn't, and that smell doesn't go away.

My apologies, we have indeed always been 100% non smoking. However, there is always a guest who chooses not to obey the rules. I wish you had brought it to our attention as we would have been more than glad to have moved you.

My two cents on my two nights
Posted 16 Jun 2021 on HotelsI’m not one to normally write reviews but overall I had a good experience at the suburban. My room had a kitchenette that was cleaned and sanitized upon my arrival. I’m overall pleased with my stay.

I stay at this property during work trips to the Washington area. The grounds are well kept this is especially import because I take my two lab pups with me. There are beautiful parks to run or walk dogs close and there is wonderful food of all kinds with in a short drive. Great value.

Nice clean room. Front desk staff very helpful to recommend restaurants and gave me plastic bag so I could take ice to room.

Keep on moving thru
Posted 28 Mar 2021 on HotelsIt was REALLY off putting when the receptionist was talking about have a gate come down over the desk at night. It doesn’t seem to be in a very good area. There are other exits before or after this one with more choices for hotels.

As any other business would, we shut down for the day by locking our doors at dusk to monitor who is coming in and out of the hotel, and close our gate at 11pm to start our night audit. I can assure you, it has nothing to do with our location, as we do this at all of our properties. I apologize that our nightly procedures made you uncomfortable during your stay with us. I do hope your room and our customer service was to your satisfaction.

Will stay here again
Posted 17 Feb 2021 on HotelsStaff was very friendly, especially with our pet. They honored our room location requests too. Only recommendation would be that cleaning crew do a little better job at cleaning/moping tile floors in the pet rooms. Other than that, we had a great stay and will stay there again... we just won't walk around in our stocking feet.

A real gem
Posted 11 Jan 2021 on HotelsAmazing service and front desk staff. We accidentally were put in a room that hadn't fully been cleaned yet. Before we were even in the door, the staff apologized, put us in a new room, and gave us a gift card. The room was wonderful and the hotel and area were very quiet. Not a lot around in terms of food, but it was a 4 min drive to a store to get a beer and a place to pick up some food.
