The ads were misleading as the property is NOT in Pitlochry - but a good 20 - 30 minutes away with no transportation other than a personal vehicle available. There are no dining facilities within walking distance nor any entertainment. Also we were moved to a higher floor than we were promised.

We are really puzzled by this review? You left a 4/5 review on our booking site but only 2/5 here; your husband was reassuring and complimentary when you left early after only one day.The Tulach restaurant is 250 metres away and The Loft (very highly rated) less. Food in The Park (fish & chips etc, Pizza, licensed) is about 5 minutes on foot, The Atholl Arns is less than 1Km. With respect, most guests consider these “walking distance.”We sent you details of these places in advance just as we sent a picture of your room. We’ve no record of you requesting a ground floor room.You're quite right about entertainment …if you ignore the bars and the restaurant… but most people come here specifically for that peace and quiet, not despite it.We’re sorry you were confused by the standard UK practice including the Post Town in the address but we can’t really change that. Postcode (ZIP equivalent) locates us to within a few metres.What a pity you didn’t give our beautiful villages a chance to demonstrate good old-fashioned Scottish Hospitality at its absolute best.

An excellent place to stay, comfortable, quiet, yet central. Only problem was, trying to find it first off, we passed the road end. One sign was obscured by a tree branch - but there was another we missed.
We recommend it.

Lovely B&B. Cute clean rooms. Hosts warm and friendly. The breakfast is plentiful and very tasty.

The property had a old world charm solid built and it was in very good condition. A credit to the owners a place where you can enjoy a quiet holiday.

Pauline and Lindsay were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fabulous and we would highly recommend The Firs to anyone that wants to stay in the area
