No tv in the rooms and no lift

Hi Carol,I beg in future you read about the hotel you're staying in before booking and certainly before leaving a negative review. Absolutely nowhere do we state we have TVs in the room or an elevator. This is not mentioned on our website or any others. We are housed in a building built in 1875 and it is a listed premises. We can't install an elevator. Our lovely staff did help you with all suitcases. Your two friends seemed to have a wonderful stay and enjoyed their drinks by our fire, so it's a shame to see you leave such a harmful review. RegardsNathan (General Manager)

Great stay. Our room was large and cozy, with a comfortable bed. Great room amenities and tasty breakfast. However, we were a bit disappointed because we had booked and prepaid the 5-course tasting menu for diner at the hotel restaurant, which was canceled by the hotel, without any communication to us.

Hello Pedro - glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and sorry that you did not get to experience the tasting menu. We changed it quite some time ago to an a la carte menu and only serve the tasting menu on Friday and Saturday. This is advertised on the website.regards,

We had a fantastic stay at Soarsa 1875. Everything from start to finish was brilliant. A very friendly welcome, excellent cocktails and the food was delicious. It's a great location for walks in the surrounding area and close to the shops in Pitlochr too. We will definitely be staying again!

The entire property is respectful of animals. The vegan dinner and breakfast were delicious.

We were initially excited to arrive at the hotel, but our enthusiasm quickly faded when the owner responded abruptly upon hearing about our dinner cancellation at Saorsa. She then informed us that “we wouldn’t find anything worthwhile in town”. Unfortunately, her attitude persisted throughout our two nights. Regrettably our overall experience was disappointing as she didn’t even offer a simple good morning or farewell.

Hey - shame you didn't get the concept. We don't give recommendations for food as we are a vegan hotel run by vegans so how can we comment on local restaurants that don't cater for us?I said good morning to all your party every day, maybe you weren't interested. You also left and didn't give us a chance to say goodbye.

Didn’t seem overly friendly! Nice, but small rooms and could hear everything in the next rooms.
