"Hotel Sofia very convenient to Heraklion airport. Could walk to some reataurants. Pool area was nice. The room was quiet considering how close to airport. But our room wasn't properly made up when we arrived. Only one set of towels and one sheet. Bathroom trash hadn't been emptied."

"Come for the beach and the food/drinks but don't expect a party atmosphere. It's a quiet property with 3 pools however everyone is either at the beach or at the primary pool. "Close enough to Old Town Heraklion to walk to for dinner or exploring. Rooms are small, but it was sufficient for one night for a couple. Some parking in front of the building but spots are limited. Worked well for what we needed. Easy access to the main road heading to Knossos."
