Washing machine provided but no instructions and would not turn off or release door to remove clothes. Four hours of non stop running. No one around to help- owner left town."

"Loved my stay at Stelios apartments. Lida and her family are the perfect hosts. Warm friendly welcome, she knows the area and the island and always offers information on getting the best out of your holiday. Clean and spacious typical Greek hotel rooms with AC available, which was heaven in August. Great pool area and bar serving a nice cold beer in an iced glass. Perfect location to explore old malia with great restaurants, but also only about 5 minutes from malia centre."

"This hotel has the makings of a great place to holiday. It is close to the resort, just a five minute walk on the flat. The rooms are adequate, may be not 4* and quite dark, certainly not as they appear on the website. Breakfast is ok but is the same every day and after a week is a bit repetitive. Bathrooms great as not all in Greece are. Main letdown was the sunbeds which were very uncomfortable and need replacing to a 4* hotel standard. There isnt enough of them either, but there isn't...

"A very modern, perfectly equipped property, amazing swimming pool, wonderful little beach with cristal clear water down the stairs of the property, garden and pool area in the same perfect condition as the apartment. Perfect location also for trips and hikes in the area. Our only regret was that we had to leave after 5 nights. Highly recommendable!"

"Just back from a wonderful 10 days at Elounda Eleon Villas. Maria and Ilias are great hosts and Zetta a fantastic housekeeper who kept our villa spotlessly clean. Loved the location of our villa which had spectacular views to the sea. The pool was a welcome relief to the hot sun. The owners are lovely and make sure you have everything you need. Beautiful relaxing hotel

"Stayed for a week, in a beautiful location, town was quiet however expected this time of year. Lovely sandy beach nearby. All staff were friendly and helpful, rooms modern and cleaned regularly. Really enjoyed both breakfast & evening meals. Hotel maybe just a little too quiet for us but otherwise perfect"

"Lovely hotel, main pool quite busy but the private beach was amazing with great beach bar and chilled music. We avoided the buffet and had incredible food at both the Cretan restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the Italian for dinner. Charming staff, just needs a minor rethink in bathroom as shower was narrow due to placement of soap holder. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend and return "
