"This hotel seemed to be mostly well kept. They did not have AC which was a bit of a downside. The staff at the desk does not often speak English, although the manager/owner does, so be prepared to use your Spanish! Getting Uber is convenient and easy to do from the hotel. I had a shuttle that left to my next destination at 2:00pm on check out day, but the hotel did not allow for late checkouts. They were willing to keep my luggage though while I waited. They allowed me to wait at the property....

"This was a wonderful first stop on our vacation as is it was midway betweeen San Jose and La Fortuna. "Very hard to find, then when you finally get there it’s not marked—looks like a house, and then they send you to another location. And finally, when we got to our room, we were told the water would be shut off from 10-4am., but they would provide a gallon of water. But they didn’t bring the water and the waiter was shut off before 10. Then they finally brought some water. The room had lots of closet space and bathroom had a lot of places to set things. The shower was cold only."

"1st this is a great hotel but located on a very busy street. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The front desk was a great resource and helpful in things to do around the area and helping schedule things. Breakfast was a very good buffet style with something new on the menu everyday. Rooms were nice size especially ones with a view, kept very clean by housekeeping and service was great. Everything in the hotels control was excellent."
