We chose this hotel because we stayed in it when they were the confort inn. But since the change in branding. The property has gone downhill. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The common areas was really dirty (trash and cigarette butts throughout the lobby and elevators). Outside around the hotel and parking lot was trashed. Hot breakfast was none-existent. Unless something changes we will not be back to this hotel.

Be very careful of Vista Suite Pigeon Forge before you get scammed. We booked this hotel for a two day birthday vacation. We came to the hotel on time. When we come to the front desk to check in, we were told there was no room available by the front desk staff, a either Indian or Pakistan with heavy accent. He tried to introduce us a cheap motel nearby. I disagreed since my payment was for a 3-star hotel price. He printed out a refund receipt (there was no such transaction in my credit card account, so this is totally fake). Also this refund amount is much less than what I paid online. So I questioned about it. He said I needed to ask Expedia for a full refund. I asked again for the reason why he did not keep our reservation, and he then asked us to leave the building and said this was private property. We had no choice and had to call police. Police officers could not do anything about it, but provided me a police report. It had been 11:30pm after we came out of Vista Suites Pigeon Forge. My special-need kid started vomiting inside the car at this time. We finally settled at 1:30am in Knoxville. This has totally ruined our birthday vacation. We tried to get refund from Expedia, but Expedia told us that we could not get refund since Vista Suites did not want to approve it. Vista Suites Pigeon Forge gave away that room to someone at a higher price, and then also took our payment from Expedia for that room. Stay away from this hotel.

The first room the put is in was not clean and was obviously slept in. They upgraded us to a higher floor and room, no housekeeping and only gave 2 bath towels and you had to bring them down to lobby to exchange them. Our inlaws came day later and they gave them the same room we had to begin with that was still filthy. The room they were upgraded to has dirty sheets on the bed, and ceiling was crumbling on the floor. They need to inspect the rooms and hire competent cleaning staff

There was nobody at the front desk for long periods of time. Most of the free breakfast was either gone or unavailable no matter when you got there. The lobby area floor was sticky along with the elevator floors. Pool was foggy, could not see the bottom. Our rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The balcony sliding door did not lock properly. There were no cribs available even though they were advertised

The room was dirty. Did not look like it has been cleaned. The bed sheets looked wrinkled like they were just pulled up. No toilet paper in the room. Had ro go down and get it from desk. We only saw 1 person working the 2 days we were there. And the breakfast was not good.

False advertisement. Didnt have queen beds they were double beds. The beds werent comfortable either. No sheets in the room for the sofabed. Staff was always gone and on the phone and very rude. A/c didn't cool the room. Could only take a shower. Spider webs in the room with spiders on it and stink bugs along with moths all in the room. Will NOT stay there again.

This place is the nastiest place that I have ever stayed. In my 66 years I have never stayed at a place with the filth. Carpets were not vacuumed, windows and glass not cleaned. When I arrived I had to wait over 20 minutes to check in because the front desk was vacated with a sign saying will return in 10 minutes with a phone number that was not answered until after 4 calls. The linens and beds stunk of sour smell. Just nasty. The 8.2 rated reviews had to be fake. Never saw more than 5 vehicles in the parking lot. I do not recommend at all.

Everything in this hotel was dirty and broken. There were random pieces of wood screwed to the bathroom wall in our room and a big hole in the wall. The floor and sink had dirt and hair. Half the lights didn't have bulbs. The hot tub smelled rotten. The one ice machine in the whole hotel was broken and no alternatives were offered. The workout room had no working equipment at all. I was told breakfast was from 730-930 and came down at 8:50 and absolutely no food, hot coffee or anything out at all. When I asked where breakfast was, the attendant said he ran out of food and shut it down early. I got upset and asked the manager who then said the time of breakfast was controlled by the health dept. I was told 7:30-9:30, so they warmed up some eggs and sausage. We were so disappointed and completely over this awful hotel.

The location was very good, near to the attractions, but several things make me categorize as poor. The carpet was dirty and a portion of the carpet was damaged, no shampoo or enough towels on the room, the TV was dirty with some sticky material, the closet have one missing door, the room phone was not connected, the coffee maker does not have the water recipient. Probably lack of personnel but still give me a bad feel.

Front desk staff very rude. People in front of us at check in were actually requesting a refund due to finding “bed bugs!” Towels did not ever appear clean and had stains, rips, and tears in them. Best thing I can say is at least had running water! But don’t bother telling front desk any of your concern/complaints as the only reply you will get is “today is a new day… that was yesterday.” Will never stay here again and read other reviews and you will not want to either!
