This was an absolutely amazing stay with the friendliest and most accommodating people. I hope to see them again and would definitely come and stay at this house. So peaceful and relaxing with everything you could need. One of my favorite stops. Laura

Great house close to town. Clean, very comfortable beds and kept the sun till late in the day.

Conveniently located, plenty of comfy beds, laundry, kitchen etc. Walking distance to town and Ferry.

Nothing to be dislike. Nice accomodation. Very clean. Close to the ferry terminal.

This is an old house and it should not be on Expedia's inventory. Very bad quality control on the part of Expedia.
The plumbing is outdated and does not work properly. There was no hot water. The owner came and fixed the hot water heater, but we didn't have hot water until the morning. Very bad for tired and weary travelers. The kitchen is also dated and the oven didn't work. They didn't provide milk or milk packets like all the other hotels we stayed in New Zealand. Finally, the beds must have bed bugs, because we were all bitten multiple times. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

Yes this is an old House and isn't displayed as a new one.
Hot water was supplied as both showers were used by your large family.
Your bed bug claim is upsetting and untrue.
