Loved being close to train but not in main tourist area. Breakfast was fabulous.

What an excellent property - very convenient location to either walk (50mins) or train (5 mins) into Sorrento.
The train station is a 2 min walk from the property and 2 stops away from Sorrento.
The trains run approx every 30mins in each direction although expect some delays at times and train back to Napoli usually very busy.
We actually took the bus from the airport which dropped as about 10 mins walk away from Villa Lolanda which is signposted.
Host Salvatore was extremely friendly as were his family.
Breakfast was an added bonus!
I would definitely recommend this property as it is only a mile outside Sorrento and takes you out of the hustle bustle.
Would definitely stay again!!!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here, I wish we had stayed longer! Everything was clean and spacious, everyone there was so kind and helpful, it’s an easy walk from the train station, and it made a great home base to pop to Sorrento, Pompeii, the beach etc… and the breakfasts were absolutely fantastic!
Would definitely recommend, and would definitely stay there again!

Villa Iolanda is an absolutely gorgeous B&B run by an even more wonderful family. We loved the breakfast option in the morning and absolutely beautiful property. Located close to the train, it was very easy to get around Sorrento and enjoy the city. Thank you to Salvatore for being so accommodating, especially with our delayed arrival and for being a super gracious host. We hope to stay again on our next trip to Sorrento!

I would recommend staying at this lovely lovely little complex. I received a whats app message from Salvatore on day of arrival who advised what exact train stop to get off at and he welcomed us when we arrived. Our room was lovely and breakfast was great. Unfortunately my case did not make it and I needed clothes and he was helpful in sending links of local shops where I could buy essentials. We had to go back the airport to collect case mid way through holiday and he made sure when we got back there was breakfast items in our room. Piano itself is quiet with a few restaurants which were good. Sorrento was two train stops away. £4 return so that was nice and cheap. Parking is available if you have a car at the villa’s which is also good. I would most certain return here to this lovely little facility. All staff we met were helpful and happy to help Thank you for making our trip so good.

Lovely little spot!
Posted 9 Aug 2024 on HotelsLovely stay at this quaint b and b in the middle of Piano di Sorrento. Conveniently located by the train station and buses as well as grocery store, laundromat, restaurants etc. we stayed 5 days and really enjoyed it. The breakfast was very nice with freshly squeezed juice and omelettes (however the first. 2 days we were not made aware of this option, so we had to eat sugary cakes...) there is also a private patio outside where we ate dinners sometimes. We didn't make use of it, but there was also parking which I would imagine is very helpful

A family run villa
Posted 4 Aug 2024 on HotelsIf your room is in the second floor bear in mind there are 30 stairs to climb. Notice that there is no shade to prevent the light enter the room early in the morning. Our room had serious drainage issue which wasn't solved until we left. Otherwise, Salvatore and his parents are real nice people who are very hospitable!

We loved our stay at Villa Iolanda. Salvatore was messaged us before we arrived through What’sApp so we felt welcome snd knew who to contact during our stay. Salvatore answered and questions we had kindly.
The breakfast was delicious, all homemade. Salvatore’s mom served us and said goodbye as we left. Very sweet.
Beautiful rooms, clean and comfortable with a great shower. Thank you!

Last night in Italy
Posted 24 Jun 2024 on HotelsOverall it was a nice place, couple minor issues were that the breakfast starts at 8:00 am we needed to check out at 7:30 to catch our flight but the host refused to serve the breakfast before 8:00.
The sofa bed was not too comfy but its ok.
Beside that it was nice
