Okay value for money, inaccurate listing, bad bed
Posted 25 Jan 2023 on HotelsMaybe the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on, mattress felt like concrete and the pillows were also mostly flat. I understand that the room was cheap and "you get what you pay for", but the bed should be at least sleep-able regardless of price. Also there was another hotel in the area for half the price of this one, so it's not like I picked the cheapest hotel in the area.
One star off for that and another because the listing on Hotels.com inaccurately stated the room as 28 square meters, which is not even close to being true. The King Bed took up almost the entire width of the room and almost half the length, so really the room (including bathroom) is more like 3x5m = 15m2 if we're being generous, but most likely ~12m2. Accurate pictures of the room are included, so I could have been more careful, but I assumed that the first pictures of the overall property where the room I booked since that room actually looks large.
All that said, the location is right in the heart of Old Phuket town and other amenities like the Wifi, check-in, TV, hot water, were all totally fine.

Arrived late due to flight delay. The gate was locked. We were lucky there’s a storekeeper woke up to entertained us but he has no guest list of the day, further contacting his boss both of them couldn’t confirm my stay only to allow check in after nearly half an hour record checking.

I would like to tell more information for these poor review
1. Hostel gate close on midnight but have staff standby for check in all day all night. That’s happy for all guest that late check in after midnight and guest that stay before. It’s basic not lucky same review.
2. check in with not show anything
And I seen for time in message of hotel after show mobile for detail for check in it complete in 2 minutes not near half an hour same review.
Basic service that all guest happy with hostel is can late check in , can leave lugguage before check in and check out. Good price for room with private bathroom. Located in the heart of Phuket old town area.
Welcome for all guest. Service is not poor same review you can test it by yourself.

In the heart of old town Phuket
Posted 13 Jan 2018Hotel staff were amazing. They let us check in 2 hours before check in time. The gentlemen was always giving us directions around town when we asked. He was very helpful. We did not like Old Town. There was nothing to do and we always struggled to find a place to eat. Almost everything is closed by 6-7 pm. There’s about 2 restaurants and coffee shops open after 7pm and the wait time to get dinner was over 1 hour. Hotel was great but overall with location and old town I would not return. I heard they have a night market on Sundays and that’s awesome so if u want to book, I recommend you book on a Sunday.

You get what you pay for. Hot water on demand, cold a/c and good free wifi. Rock hard beds, no windows, dark and gloomy. Staff speaks almost no English except owner who is helpful when he's there. Loud group of kids showed up at 1 am shouting and fighting and rowdy for 2 hours, they were loud every night. Not exactly a family place, just know that you're paying for what your getting. Amazing location on Talang Road as a side note.

You get what you pay for
Posted 14 Dec 2016We stayed here for 3 nights but the room was only cleaned once during our stay so there isn't 'daily' housekeeping. Also there is no restaurant downstairs as it is now a souvenir shop so this means that there is no room service available like advertised. The staff were very friendly and answered all our questions about places to go. The beds are quite hard and firm but for me and my friends we actually found them quite comfortable, but this might be a deal breaker for others. The best part about this place is the location, it is literally on the street were night markets take place so when you exit the hostel after 6pm the street its bustling and there are craft and food stalls everywhere.
The place is value for your money, the building is quite old and you will have to walk up steep, uneven stairs but for the price this is more than worth it. Don't hesitate to ask the staff any questions or requests because they'll do there best to help.

Pros: I like the location because you are surrounded by restaurants, shops, and landmarks.
Cons: The steps are steep, but I do not think that can easily be improved.
Location: I visited the beautiful Buddhist temple nearby which was only a five minute walk away.
The room was bigger than I expected which was nice. I was happy to see soap dispenser provided in the shower because I forgot mine. The toilet and shower are separated, as well as the sink. The temperature was stable and fine.

Posted 7 Apr 2024 on HotelsNous n’y avons passé que une seule nuit, mais la chambre est très bien placée, par contre hébergement sans ascenseur au dernier étage, escalier très étroit de 70 marches a monter avec les valises, un peu dangereux et fatiguant mais sinon tres bien
