Would have been nice to be told before hand the place was undergoing renovations, woke me up at 5 am with power tools

The owner was very polite and helpful , stayed up for me, room was large, great hot water, . would be nice to have a coffee available , maybe for purchase even, for early am departures. There is NO elevator, so could only take the small bag upstairs, worked out for me, but for others maybe will mean opening suitcase and repacking. The owner herself drove me to the airport as part of transport, very kind . For the price, and proximity to the airport, very good value and idea. I liked my stay

Overcharging, rude staff, incompetent management

First off, I was overcharged for a shuttle. The message from the hotel says one price for a 4-seater, but they charged me another. I even asked for a 7-seater and they said they would send it, but they sent a 4-seater and charged me for a 7-seater. Second, the hotel page says they are pet friendly. They complained about my dog and tried to charge me additional fees not listed anywhere while booking. Third, the staff were very rude about my bags, and very rude when I followed up about the overcharging. Finally the room itself was filthy, the bottoms of my feet turned black. I kept my dog in her kennel as requested but the room was dirty already. Stay far away. There are no benefits, only mismanagement and scamming.

Few issues….Very weak WiFi. Had to stop and start several times - start with weak signal then next to nothing few minutes later. Asked for a taxi the night before for 5:30am next morning and the front desk insisted I prepay. Next morning the taxi was late 10 minutes then she kept saying 5 min more etc. Taxi arrived 20 min late. Felt like she knew it would be late but not being honest.

They overbooked themselves and sent us to another hotel. It's just a bed by the airport, so if that's all you need then go for it.
