Not the best for solo travellers. The communal areas are shared with a hotel and then is mostly families and groups. Best location for sightseeing. Would definitely recommend better than in Khao San Road.

The property was very clean, bathrooms, rooms. The beds were nice. Included breakfast was excellent. It is located near a lot of good tourist attractions. They give you a map of the area at the front desk with included attractions.

Issara hostel was extremely clean and nice and also kind staffs!

Nice hostel with lots of convenience
Posted 21 Apr 2018Hostel staff is friendly and helpful. Room is clean as housekeeping will tidy it daily. Shared toilet and bathroom is clean as well just that the bathroom drainage is abit slow so when u shower the water level will raise slightly. Common area at 2nd level is cool with bean bags for u sit and relax, also an ironing board and iron to use. It has coin laundry service at rooftop. Hostel is close to the school that i am taking a short course. There's street food around the hostel.

If you a big backpack or suitcase you have it in you room. It will not fit in the looker.
So be organized. It was fine for me but it good to know
I will stay here next time I’m coming to Bangkok.
