Room reeked of cigarettes. Mirror smashed. Cockroaches in the bathroom coming out at night near the beds. Homeless people beating on the door several times. Grey dirt footprints on my room door from vagrants kicking it. Swimming pool on south side of Hotel filled with dirt and topped with rocks. A couple of units being remodeled: plaster, sinks and debris thrown off second floor level into the parking lot - not removed. This is a really bad neighborhood. Even the Denny's Restaurant next door is getting that run down look. This is the worst hotel room I have ever seen. The Staff was nice! I will never stay here or in this area ever again. The Vacation Inn, north across Thomas Ave is now apartments - but the neighborhood is 3rd world. Former La Quinta is now this Motel Six and it is a war zone.

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life. Every time I came back to my room from being out I had to have my room key reset 5 times. Which means means walking all the way around the building. The prostitution was every night I was there, asking if I want company. No I do not. DO NOT STAY HERE

Whenever I've stayed anywhere since 1992 I've stayed at motel 6. For the most part always been clean staff always nice. The best part is my 4 legged furr family is always welcome no matter what .This last stay in phoenix has been very pleasurable. I'm really impressed with the room I had. I stayed there when it was the other brand motel and it was scary. Guys at front desk was nice the only problem I had was not being able to turn the TV on .microwave and fridge is something never thought of. I'll be back there for sure

The new owners are very friendly and conscientious and intend to make all needed improvements to this old facility. Even in its present state, the room was pretty good for the price.
