Quiet place, maybe too quiet.
Posted 11 Mar 2016 on HotelsNice views from front balconies which are not part of anyone's room because of this front room occupants kept their blinds shut most of the time. Back rooms no views, and balconies in back not really usable because of mosquito problems

Needs more furnishing
Posted 29 Feb 2016 on HotelsI booked the Deluxe Apartment with Balcony. The balcony doesn't really have city views though. It looks at a building under construction and a slumlike rooftop. There's a separate living room and bedroom. The kitchen is integrated with the living room. It's too sparsely furnished. The large square footage warrants more furniture, like a couch. Instead there's just two lounge chairs, a dinner table, and 2 dinner chairs. Makes the apartment feel real empty. The kitchen does not have any kitchenware. This place is mostly set up for monthly rentals so renters bring their own stuff. There's no elevator so you have to bring your luggage up some stairs. Nearby points of interest is the TK Avenue Mall. There's 2 free bottles of water, but there's no coffee or tea making facilities.

Initial service when we arrived was pretty disappointing, no one helped us lug our suitcases up 4 flights of stairs, took my passport for a while until they got a photocopy, remote control for air con didn't work so swapped with another room. Our room was nice and clean but 12 hours later the bathroom stank of sewerage so we were moved again. Second room stank of cigarette smoke (not the hotels fault, it was the previous room occupant). There were no other rooms available like the one we had paid for so we negotiated to pay a little more per day to be upgraded to an apartment. The apartment was nice and spacious, but the "kitchen" that you pay extra for has nothing in it, not a plate or a spoon or even gas for the stove. I wouldn't return to aime unless I really needed to stay in tuol kork but I appreciated that the hotel was willing to move us when we complained of the smell. Also a plus is security person to watch over your Moto or bicycle at night (though I'm pretty sure we saw him sleeping once). Location is not good unless you intend to be in that area, hard to find decent food that's not crazy expensive at TK avenue
