"Gorgeous lodge near Kruger with a pottery workshop on site. Bring your own dinner and you can relax around the fire at night and listen to the hyenas. "This used to be a magnificent hotel which I stayed in many times. Now it’s a run down shell. The room offered was squalid and to get to it I had to drive down a dirt track and the area outside was overrun by wild baboons. No food was available and I had not been told this in advance. I left and stayed across the road in an alternate hotel. May it one day return to what it once was."
