This was a fabulous find. A beautiful setting, and ideal for for a short break. The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly and the breakfast was great. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how things progress with the newest Pullman which is being converted into a restaurant and would recommend a stay here.

The Old Railway station hotel
Posted 5 Aug 2024 on HotelsThe hotel was amazing really lovely quiet place to relax. The local pub Badger was just down the road from the hotel and again the food was very good.
The cleanliness of the rooms was excellent, we will definitely be back.

Posted 3 Apr 2024 on HotelsA really interesting, quirky and special place. We stayed in a Pullman 'room' which was comfortable, warm and cosy. The carriage had been converted brilliantly and retained its historic features. The station building also had been converted/renovated to a high standard and again retained historic references, tastefully done. Breakfast, cooked 'just for you' was excellent and was eaten in the old waiting room which had a lovely ambiance. Highly recommended if you want something different and if you have any interest in steam railways, you'll love it.
