The property was extremely clean, has a great view and every detail has been thought, i.e. they even had beach towels for us to use. The swimming pool is very big.
The hosts are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome and at ease.
I would absolutely recomend to friends and family and hope I get to come back. Thank you Tiago and Sonia.

beautiful home with amazing views

Pros: we loved everything - the home, the deck, the pool, the views and the little paths through the vineyard were all fabulous.
Cons: absolutely nothing needs to be improved at this home.
Location: the home is located about 10 min out of town, the drive up is amazing! The propoerty is close to many vineyards and other small towns.
We loved our stay in the douro valley and at this property. The pictures do not do the views, pool and space justice. The home is huge, spotlessly clean and has fabulous views, deck and pool area. We could have stayed at the property for weeks. When we checked in the home owner was there to welcome us and she had left jam, butter, ham and cheese in the fridge for us. The kitchen has everything you need and we cooked a few meals while we were there. The property has fresh bread delivered daily as part of your stay as well.
Our group each had their own room and bathroom and the kids loved the shared rooms that the home has. We cannot say enough about the property and our stay in the douro valley - it was incredible. The pool is a great feature as it was hot while we visited and the property has beach towels, pool side loungers as well as a pool house with a shower and washroom so wet kiddos dont need to run into the house. The deck has covered, shady spaces as well as seating in the sun.
The home has a second, smaller property onsite, these guests have access to the pool as well. We didnt find this an issue at all with everyone exploring the area it was rare we were all in the pool at the same time. However, for the small space guests, they may have been overwhelmed by our larger group ( the main house sleeps 10 people).

Tout était parfait. Les hôtes extrêmement accommodants et gentils. L’endroit est magnifique, voir magique. Je le recommande et y j’y retournerais sans hésiter!

Posted 8 Aug 2017Nous rentrons de 2 jours de rêve à Quinta da Pintarela. L accueil de Sonia et Tiago était parfait. La maison est formidable et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons énormément apprécié la piscine pour nous rafraîchir. La vue depuis la terrasse est merveilleuse. Nous gardons précieusement cette adresse pour y revenir. Merci pour tout
