Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean but not well lit. AC did not work. Plumbing fixtures worked fine and were in good condition. Parking was no problem and there are arrangements for after hours check-in.

Hotel Johnson a great place to stay in Pescheira

Hotel Johnson is right on Lake Garda, near the railway station, trains from Pescheira to Verona airport, also a good bus route.
From June there is a direct bus from Pescheira to Verona airport.
Buy your bus tickets at the shop they are cheaper than buying them on the bus.
Very near the port where you catch the boats to take you round Lake Garda.
The staff are very helpful at the hotel, great breakfasts and you get 10 per cent off your bill if you eat in their restaurant which has a lovely garden to use when it’s a nice evening,
Would recommend this family run hotel, will be returning soon!

Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast could include museli
Location: Location near the water and close to the main town centre, which was easy walking distance. Train station was probably about 10-15 minutes walk.
Arrived there on a very hot humid night and was pleased that the a/c in the room was already on - very welcome.
Breakfast didn't offer a lot of selection eg. no museli or bread to cook for toast (just the already packaged toast) but overall the hotel was pretty good value for money. Had a bit of an issue with Internet in the room but it worked well in the reception area and just outside. Staff were very helpful when we asked about leaving bags for a while, it wasn't a problem at all.

Pros: Location.
Cons: More options to open the restaurant on site, after at 15 pm.
Location: Lago, town centre, train station and buses.
I have had an excellent weekend visiting a beauty landscape around Peschiera del Garda as well as Verona City.

It is more motel-style considering the overall lack of amenities of the hotel in general, but the location is excellent if you are traveling by trains or buses and the room conditions are well enough to serve you for a sleep and shower, but not much more. I didn't hang around there much since it wasn't very appealing to me, but I loved the fact that I didn't have to rely on any transportation other than my feet to get around there (Peschiera at night is lovely), and the buses and train were only footsteps away.

Pros: Staff were friendly & helpful
Cons: Beds are very hard
Location: Pesch is a decent base for the theme parks & getting about by train but not a great town in itself. Day trip to Verona is easy.
This hotel was ok, the staff were nice, the price was fair, and breakfast was good, however the bed was hard and I got eaten alive by mosquitoes in the night. My fault for not checking the window was closed! Heating in the room didn't seem to work either. But it was ok. If I stayed in Peschiera again i'd go to the Meet hostel where I stayed my first night but then closed down for the winter season after that.
