Beautifully executed integration of a historic building into a very modern one. The rooms in the modern addition are very spacious and stylishly designed. Well situated right in the business center of Perth. Very quiet. Luxurious Karl Lagerfeld toiletries. The Melbourne hotel offers excellent value, a high level of luxury at a reasonable price. I stayed twice, and it will be my first choice when I go to Perth again.

Very disappointed. The rain shower was not working. The blinds did not block out the light from the sun and so woke up at the crack of dawn. Aircon kept turning on and off through the night, ao would wake up very hot and/or to the sound of fans blasting. Either ways, it was an exceptionally bad experience. Leaving us heavily sleep deprived, tired and disappointed. Room prices certainly did not match the poor standards of the room. Upon telling staff at check out, we were told they will let management know but with no remorse nor offer a way of applogy.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms outstanding but the roof bar is only open at the weekend and we had booked as we wanted to meet friends there. Shouldn’t we pay less if all the facilities are not available? There is no room service or mini bar and to pay $35 a night for parking which is more than the car park outside the hotel is unbelievable.
