This was a private residence managed by Novotel, so large and convenient for the family. Cleanliness could be improved and the residence was old and tired with stains and holes in the lounge furniture. As it is close to family I would stay again, but only for that reason as there are not many accomodation options in Ellenbrook

It is a bit frayed around the edges, but that works to the guests' advantage, as its still affordable. The only negative is that we had to drive 1 Km from reception to the car park, even though its only a few hundred feed from check in (seems silly). Other than that, this place was perfect. The grounds are beautiful, the restaurant was nice, the room was comfortable, the bathroom was large and the room had a nice balcony overlooking a courtyard. We also loved the kangaroos everywhere.

Nice complex , grounds , facilities and area but parts of the external building in particular are dated requiring some renovation. Arrived on a clear cold winters day a room was cold on arrival. Surprised room was not heated and ready for customers. Aircon was flashing lights with a filter error and could not clear error and run it to heat the room. Reported to management and arrived after a couple of hours. Did resolve and clear the error after an extended time. Seems like a basic check not done by staff prior to arrivals. Staff seem overworked and stressed. Suggest more support needed.

The choice in dining options was lacking and the food at the Cafe and Bar was ordinary at best. We have stayed here many times over the last 10 years or so and the food options have reduced making us look outside the venue for other food options.

A lovely stay at a beautiful and unique resort. I didn’t expect such a walk to our room from reception, having an illness that limits my mobility it would have been helpful to have had the option to book a room a shorter walk from the entrance. The restaurant might also consider providing an urn for people wanting to make tea, rather than them having to wait to use the coffee machine just for hot water. The rest of the stay was wonderful, the room was beautiful and modern, very luxurious. The grounds are immaculately kept, with kangaroos snacking here and there. We would definitely come back!
