Small swimming pool in middle of courtyard next to bar area. Helpful staff. Note this is a music venue but this is well advertised so is noisy especially at weekends but if you like some entertainment then this is is a good place to go.

BEWARE I was mislead by the photos advertising this hotel and in truth it is a party hotel for young people. There was no way I would stay so we wasted $240 as there was no refund and I was advised by the receptionist that they could not transfer this room to another night as it was booked through you! BOOK YOUR ROOMS THROUGH HOTEL, NOT WOTIF I tried emailing the hotel and appealing to them that I would like to send my wife’s adult son instead so we can have the night together at our own home instead (this was why we had spontaneously booked the room, wanting some privacy) but I never heard back. If we’d booked directly then they may have been able to help but having booked through you we were left with no option other than lose the money. My son actually booked a way better hotel with a bath (which is what we thought we were getting) for $30 less and only $100 deposit. WHATEVER YOU DO, DON’T SPONTANEOUSLY BOOK HOTEL ROOMS UNLESS YOU’VE BEEN THERE BEFORE. Very disappointed in how misleading your hotel pictures are.

The room I stayed in had very little upgrades since the 70’s. That may add to the charm of it all. However the ammenities left a lot to be desired. Excellent location. 2 blocks from the beach. Free safe and secure onsite parking a big ✅

I did not realise that there was a Pub / club attached to it. So a bit noisy when trying to sleep. Otherwise it’s good for the price & has a swimming pool. The room I had is called Deluxe DB room over looking the pool & you can see the Indian Ocean over the roof tops. It’s 8 minutes to Scarborough Beach, shops & Bus stops. The sunsets are …. Amazing! The Hotel Has some funky history too. Colourful carpet. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Need to ask for cutlery & crockery too

This hotel desperately needs updating. The toilet seat is cracked, stained and probably unhygienic. The shower head is placed in a corner and ok for someone small, but not for anyone bigger as there isn't enough room between the two walls to get under it properly. The tap on the wash basin isn't over the basin, so floods the back of it when running water and is also not easy to get a glass of water or fill the kettle. There is no bed side table on one side, although plenty of room for one. The fridge has missing shelves. However, the staff were amazing and sorted out two issues for us really well and quickly - can't fault them. Our towels were changed daily so I would like to see a notice, like many hotels, that if you leave your towels on the floor, then they need changing but if they're hing up, then don't. Save the hotel money, and saves water and power at the same time. It's in a convenient location for what we wanted but we won't stay there again.
