Charming Village hotel near Cognac
Posted 17 Feb 2019 on HotelsHalf way from Roscoff to south of France , we made totally random stop near Cognac ( would like to go back there to do brandy tour). The hotel looked nice enough via photos etc and didn’t disappoint . On the backroads You drive through countless villages and see so many shuttered stone buildings and wonder what they are like inside. L’Adelie is a chance to see inside one! It’s a beautifully restored building and has oodles of features. The room was perfectly suitable for us and the Owner lady was very hospitable ... we managed well with our rusty French . She made us a reservation at a very nice nearby restaurant (les copains d’abord) where the hosts were just as friendly and a good fixed priced menu. In the morning she prepared a lovely breakfast and even helped see us out safely onto the road from their secure parking ( where there was also a bbq and pool area for the summer). I would very happily stay there again if ever we pass.

Très belle suite pour 2 personnes et un enfant.
Jolis extérieurs avec piscine. Parking facile.

Posted 5 May 2019 on HotelsWir trafen auf überaus freundliche und zuvorkommende Hotelbesitzer. Der Service war ausgezeichnet, stets sauberer Pool, saubere Handtücher. Die Buchungen von Ausflügen und Restaurantbesuchen übernahm die nette Hotelbesitzerin.
