The staff is friendly depending on who is working the shift. People have attitude if you are not staying in the hotel. The staff that are super friendly are the cleaning waiters and waiting

Half way around Kotor Bay is the Per Astra and wow, this is just a beautiful hotel with amazing views of the bay, attentive staff and great food. It was the first stop on our trip along the Dalmatian coast and we really enjoyed it, you’ll need your own car or motorcycle to really appreciate the area but it is well worth :)

A beautiful hotel, and our pleasure to stay at Hotel Per Astra. Set at the top of Perast, you wake up to a view over the small town and bay of Kotor. It is a view that genuinely can’t be matched... We had breakfast by the pool both mornings, and continued to enjoy that view over a simply perfect breakfast. I would defiantly recommend the pancakes! The hotel’s staff helped with my inquiries ahead of our stay, very quickly, and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our lovely room (junior suite) overlooked the bay, and was incredibly luxurious. A huge (what’s bigger than king-size?) bed was very comfortable. Although gold isn’t necessarily to my design preferences, it was a luxurious change :) A huge shower and spa bath too. I would very happily come back, and if I were you, I wouldn’t hesitate to book a room here.

Pretty good hotel
Posted 8 Sep 2018 on HotelsGenerally a pretty nice hotel.
On arrival the staff were really helpful and knowledgable on the parking in the street/car park outside.
The hotel is an old building so had its little quirks like uneven floors, and an old lift.
Great location for the centre of town and the breakfast was brilliant.

Great hotel
Posted 6 Jul 2018We stayed here for 4 nights towards the end of June. The room was very nice and quite large. We had some issues with the AC, but once I figured out how to program the remote control we were fine. Breakfast was nice, lots of choices and good service. We had several lunches and dinners at the restaurant and they were all quite good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool was warm. The only downside is the mosquitoes were quite bad, we got lots of bites in the late afternoon. Views from the rooms and the property are gorgeous. The beach is about 5 minutes from the hotel. You have to walk down some rock stairs to get to the beach. It should be noted that this hotel is not handicap accessible, there are a lot of stairs. Overall we loved the hotel and would love to stay here again.
