Can’t fault this hotel it has everything. Lovely rooms, place to relax in the swimming/sauna area. The restaurant was so nice with amazing food and lovely staff. The lounge is a cosy place to chill and have a drink in front of the fire places. Overall a lovely hotel that’s not far from anything, is affordable and offers so much. We have already planned to return

Excellent Hotel for those looking to break a long journey going north from The Home Counties. However, unlike many quality hotels, who are well sign posted, this one is not, thus making it difficult to find.

We have just returned from a two night stay at the hotel with one morning spent in the spa. The hotel was really easy to find and the location was great for getting to towns nearby. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was really nice and dined there in the evening. We would highly recommend. Thank you for a great weekend.

Excellent hotel that we enjoyed, HOWEVER we we informed after booking that there is a £15 per person fee to use the pool and spa for those who book through Expedia/Hotels.com.......
A fee is mentioned in the hotel description if you go and read through the info, but the value of the fee is not mentioned.
So whilst i actually booked thia hotel specific for the pool and spa, we did not use either. The actual fee need to be mentioned in the hotel details on their listing.
In future if we use this hotel again, which we might because it was very nice, we will book direct as the spa fee only applies to third party bookings.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and polite. The hotel was very clean and really enjoyed using the spa facilities.

Nice room/ excellent shower. Good internet on phone and I- pad though tricky laptop. Nice breakfast . Only problem was when booking through 3rd party can’t use pool unless £15/person for 48 hour pass . Not much point when only there for 12 hours .No flexibility on this . Shame as left a bad taste to an otherwise good experience

Overpriced if you go through 3rd party. Extra cost for booking through Expedia. No breakfast for £180
