A traditional bed & breakfast. Great communication from the hosts in advance, and they were very helpful on arrival sorting out parking and fresh water to take up. The room was comfortable and clean. I didn't have time for breakfast, but it would have been served at the room (you pre-order the night before). The hosts were very friendly and I would stay there again.

Great attention to detail and a lovely bit of cake on arrival. Room was very clean and spacious for a single. The breakfast is even brought to your room in the morning at the specified time of your choice which was awesome. Food was excellent and hot. Overall fantastic value for money. And half the price of the local premier inn. Cant recommended this bed and breakfast enough. John Room 6

This was a stopover night - what a gem of a place. The owners have only been in residence for 6 months and are very welcoming. Would definitely recommend and when travelling up to Scotland, this will be our go-to stop over.

Comfortable one night stay at Norcroft. Spacious room, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast served in room at time of your choice which meant I was able to make an early start. I would happily stay here again.

The owners were really sweet and made sure everything was alright with the room and breakfast. They also handed me a fresh chocolate muffin right when I got there! I found the location really convenient for walking into town or to the bus station, it was pretty close but still far away enough to be really quiet/peaceful at night.

The Norcroft Guest House was an ideal place to stay in Penrith. Close to the town centre with clean, comfortable rooms and vegetarian or vegan breakfast delivered to your room at an agreed time. Free wifi and off street free parking are also included. Mark and Paula were friendly amenable hosts. We will be back

We stayed 3 nights at Norcroft and we were very happy with our choice of accommodation. The room and bathroom were well adequate with the bed linen and towels very clean. This was a perfect stopover on our way to Scotland. Very comfortable clean room. Welcoming hosts including providing freshly baked muffins! Secure storage for our bikes and a private car park. Within an easy walk of town to find somewhere to eat. Brilliant!
