Booked to stay here because it has its own restaurant, but on arrival I was told it was closed for two days. The property is a little rundown and the room I had was not sound proof at all as I could here every car arriving / leaving in the parking area and dogs were barking throughout the day starting at 7.30on the first morning and finishing at 12.30am. Really loud and very annoying! It did improve after I complained and they then didn’t start until after 09.00. The staff were all very nice and the breakfast was good. Would have got four stars if the room had been properly soundproof as advertised.

Place is big and staff is great, breakfast was good. Value for the money it’s ok but keep in mind that it is an old hotel that looks struck in time

Great country retreat

The hotel was really nice, quiet, except for odd dog barking. Very friendly front desk staff, breakfast was more than enough. Loved location. Absolutely reccomend if you like peace & quiet.

Great Stay for the Price!
Posted 14 Oct 2016 on HotelsWe were looking for a nice place to stay close to Peniche and A Coutada Hotel Rural was perfect for this. The price was very affordable and the area around the hotel is very quite and serene. The room was very clean with a nice balcony to enjoy the surrounding area. We were very happy with the stay.
