Not a boutique hotel
Posted 14 Aug 2024 on HotelsI was put in a room which was not in the hotel, but down the driveway, out the back. There were broken blinds, so people could see in from the driveway. There was a hole in the bedroom door which someone had done a shoddy job of trying to putty up. There was a dent in the bedroom wall. The headboard was not attached properly and the bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was not clean. I just felt dirty being there and did not enjoy my stay. It does not meet my definition of a boutique hotel.

Room was comfortable, warm & clean. The honour system for drinks downstairs was a lovely idea, of which we took advantage! Seating area was inviting.
Stairs to upstairs rooms very steep.
Would definitely stay again.

What a lovely spot. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and it is right in the centre of town, looking at the beach!
