Beautiful paradise on walking distance of restaurants, shops, monkey forrest and palace

We had the suite which was only refurbished 12 months ago, so it was nice and clean, with large bathroom. The staff were extremely helpful when we asked to move to the 2nd floor for more privacy. This was done with no fuss at all. The swimming pool is very nice. It's a proper swimming pool where you can do laps. There is also a 2nd swimming pool for kids. And the surrounding is lush and beautiful. The location of the hotel is too notch. It's quiet but only 100 metres from all the Ubud cafes and restaurants. Two things to improve: 1. No gym facility. To my understanding this is due to the gym is being refurbished. It will be nice if the hotel can give us vouchers to the nearby gym. 2. Breakfast can be vastly improved. We stayed at the suite room to which we are entitled for an ala carte breakfast. But the standard buffet breakfast is too plain/limited. E.g. the fruit selection is very limited. The are very limited desserts or cakes during our stay. And the hot food selection is also to plain for us.

All the staff was extremely nice. The spa could improve a bit more, but we still got a very nice massage. The floating breakfast was very nice. The room was big and spacious. The AC did not make the room cold, but it was not too hot either. The bed and bed frame are extremely squeaky, bu overall for the price it was a good experience.

Tranquil Paradise

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights. We loved the location - right in the heart of Ubud close to plenty of cafes and restaurants, but tucked down a long driveway for a quiet and relaxing space. We found the staff to be incredibly attentive and we were greeted by name every time we went past the reception desk. We will be back to stay again.
