This is the second time we have stayed here and we will definitely come back when we need a place to stay in the area. Very friendly check-in. Rooms are clean and quiet. Would highly recommend

I couldn’t get the TV to work in my room, and the breakfast offered was minimal and all cold (except the coffee). But the room was clean and the mattress very comfortable. And the host was very friendly. The place was very quaint.

This was a last-minute reservation for us. We arrived at 8pm and out by 7am. We liked that the continental breakfast available at 6am.

The Rugged Country Lodge was so cute! It was nice to stay in a place that had character instead of a boring hotel.
(It's an older building, but the rooms are well taken care of and decorated nicely.)
I felt a little like I was transported back in time. :)

Definitely rugged. Very basic but comfortable bed. Staff pleasant. Breakfast self serve and limited choice of continental food.
