Poets Cove is a go to resort for us. It’s like being away from daily life. Staff are great. It is a bit dated, but improved from the last time we were there. The only real negative…the king bed was two twin beds together. Beautiful location, beautiful grounds, amazing restaurant. We’ll be back for our fifth time!

We occupied 4 rooms in the Lodge..We ate in the dining room and it was wonderful...
the staff was super friendly..especially enjoyed Sophia at the front desk

Great place the staff was lovely the sink in room was draining slow but the got it going fixed

Disappointed 😔
Chose this resort for a family celebration but found the resort to be dated and smelly. Room had a foul smell that we reported to the front desk and were told nobody was available to deal with it. The next day, we reported the same thing and were told someone would check it out but never heard anything further. Worried that the smell was potentially dangerous so slept with the windows open all night. We were told that switching rooms was not permitted either.
Restaurant (only on on site) does not take reservations…perhaps the front desk could share this information at check in. Food was good.
Two pools- one cold and one green with algae.
Two hot tubs- one out of service, one filled with non paying customers who come in from the marina and joke about it.
The views are beautiful but there are many other places to visit who appreciate travellers and offer superb service.
Do not recommend 🙃

We do have a record of you requesting a room change due to an issue with the fireplace, but not about the smell. Again, any additional information you could provide would be helpful for our investigation.Regarding Syrens Bistro, we apologize if there was any confusion about reservations. We typically inform guests that Syrens takes reservations only for groups of 8 or more, and for smaller groups, it is first-come, first-served.
