"This was the perfect spot for our family’s first time to La Fortuna and Costa Rica. If you don’t mind the drive into town for activities, which we didn’t at all, this place is quiet and beautiful! We loved sitting at both open-air restaurants and having a drink while our kids swam in the hot springs. The hiking trail and river slide/swimming were beautiful. We saw lots of birds and heard all the cicadas and howler monkeys in the evenings. We would definitely stay again!"

"We enjoyed the Chateau Arenal very much. If I could add a 1/2 star I would do so. It has a beautiful view, the pool and hot tub are lovely, the food is good and interesting, the drinks are delicious and the people are all amazingly friendly, helpful and kind.
