Pretty convenient place to stay in Pemba for a business trip. I have staid there many times. Still efforts needed to recover the bright of 10 years ago. This time the main issue has been that the bed was not clean.

Close to the beach: nice pools

Nice athmosphere. Restaurant great food but far from rooms. No roomservice available.

Terribly disappointing

terribly disappointing, not what it used to be. Hotel was empty, breakfast was second-class, air con broken, welcome letter addressed to someone else, main restaurant closed, poor service. Not worth it. Business travelers to Pemba should try the new Hotel Raphael,very good value for money.

A lovely hotel with beautiful views of Pemba bay and excellent, friendly service. The food at Clube Naval was delicious, as were the spa treatments.
