Had an awesome experience at Le Grande Bali. Pool and bar area with pool table was amazing, breakfast buffet was delicious and had tons of options, air conditioning in the room was perfect after long days in the sunshine. Room was clean and comfy. Staff was above and beyond, friendly, helpful, and added such positive energy.

The staff were friendly and attentive, the breakfast buffet was tasty. However, we felt the standard of the room let the hotel down and left us questioning how it was a 5* hotel, there were no tables/chairs on the balcony meaning we couldn’t use it. There was no hot water in the shower & the paint work was chipped. Just felt a bit run down.

We stayed at Le Grande for four nights and chose a pool access room, which turned out to be a great decision. It was wonderful to be able to jump into the pool and relax right from our room. The facilities were pleasant, featuring multiple decently sized pools, a gym, a pool table, and table tennis. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of savory and continental options. The staff were all friendly, and room service did a good job of keeping our room clean. However, we had some issues with the quality of the bed. The springs were quite noticeable and noisy, and the pillows were not much better, leading to poor sleep quality. Additionally, the room lacked a safe, which has been a standard amenity in every other hotel we’ve stayed at in Bali. Lastly, allow half an hour at check-out, as we did not anticipate it taking the staff this long to check our room. The location is quiet, with large roads and a very safe feel, though it is a decent drive from any beaches or attractions, which is typical for Uluwatu. Overall, our stay was average compared to what you would expect from a hotel at this price point.

Old hotel

No way this is a 5 star hotel. The hotel itself is outdated and the staff isn’t great either. Breakfast was not tasty. The location was peaceful and pool was very nice
